Biography:

Aaron graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2017 from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Immediately following, he was admitted to UCI’s Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program PhD program. As a PhD student, Aaron worked with Craig Stark in the department of Neurobiology and Behavior (NBB) investigating age-related brain changes using Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS). Aaron’s MSc and PhD research used MRS to investigate the underlying role of neural metabolism in late-onset Alzheimer's disease and developed deep learning neuroimaging analysis software packages.
